Have condoms before having sex
Practice using before having sex
Use condoms for oral, anal, or vaginal sex
Use latex condoms with lubrication
Use each condom only once
Check expiration date on box or wrapper
Use K-Y Jelly or other water-based lubricants if you want more moisture
Store in a cool, dry place.

USE INSTRUCTIONS
Put condom on the penis BEFORE any sexual contact with your partner
Be sure the condom is on right side out
Leave ½ inch of the condom at the tip of the penis to hold the
semen
Roll the condom onto a hard (erect) penis
Withdraw penis right after “coming” (ejaculation) and while the penis
is still hard
Hold the base of the condom as you pull it out
If the condom breaks, call or visit a clinic or doctor immediately.

DON’T
Keep condoms in your car
Use Vaseline, hand cream, baby oil or other oil-based lotions with
condoms
Keep condoms in a purse or wallet for more than a day
Buy “glow in the dark” or other novelty condoms - they don’t protect
against pregnancy or sexually transmitted diseases
Throw used condoms in the toilet.
